Keep Your Claim Off Social Media!

2016-01-04

Never post anything about your injury or worker’s compensation claim on social media. Anything you post is fair game for the other side to use against you in ways you never thought about when you made the post. You can be ordered by a judge to furnish account passwords or even to "friend" the guilty party so they can see what you had to say about your injuries or your claim. Even deleting something does not help since everything is archived and can be found through a diligent search. NOTHING ON THE INTERNET EVER GOES AWAY! Even the attempt to delete a post can be used as evidence against you in court. Do yourself a big favor and do not say anything about the accident, your injuries or your treatment on any social media account.
